Coordination & Collaboration

At Parkworks, we work closely with general contractors and other trades.

  • Concrete: We provide required tolerances and detailed embed layout. After the concrete contractor has installed the embeds, we
verify their location prior to pour.
  • Electrical: As part of our submittal package, we provide a detailed single line diagram that addresses required loads and electrical
    points of connection.
  • Fire Sprinkler: We include a standard detail in our submittal package.

Parkworks works closely with clients to coordinate every phase of installation, keeping timelines on track from start to finish.

AHJ Coordination
Parkworks has strong relationships with local jurisdictions. As a team of licensed structural engineers, electrical contractors, and general contractors, Parkworks is well-equipped to coordinate the following:

  • Fire sprinkler systems
  • Fire safety coordination
  • Emergency stop and access systems
  • Power outage protocol
  • Field labeling
  • Permitting support

We understand that each municipality is different and are happy to conduct a site visit or Q&A directly with local jurisdictions for clear
communication.

BIM
Parkworks supports BIM coordination efforts for projects. We produce in-house BIM models and work with stakeholders to prevent and
resolve clashes. Please reach out to us if you have any questions on our BIM services.
